Beauty both in appearance and in her musical gifts, Dheepa delivers a range from velvety softness to sultry blues, jazz, and soul. Through her dazzling versatility and range, the NYC-based Indian-American singer and songwriter has corralled praise from guiding lights such as All About Jazz, Jazz Corner, and Jazz Times. On the live stage, Dheepa has played at many venues in New York City and surrounding areas, including the Cutting Room, Rockwood Music Hall, Soap Box Gallery, Bowery Electric, and Atlantic Brooklyn, among others.

For her 2022 release, Good Intentions, she paired with renowned Brazilian producer and guitarist Sandro Albert and assembled a band of top New York session musicians to bring her many original compositions to life with a more contemporary and soulful feel. Most recently (August 2023), Dheepa released a new album of cover songs as part of her summer Cover Series entitled Light of Day. The project includes tracks "Inside Out," "Hang On To Your Love," "Use Me," and others.
