From her early days studying Indian and Western Classical music in Dallas, TX, to her immersive experiences in New York City and Los Angeles, Dheepa has honed her craft with unwavering dedication. Albums like "On 4th Street (2010)," "Some New Fashion (2011)," and "Patchwork (2015)" laid the foundation for her distinctive sound, blending jazz influences with contemporary sensibilities. She garnered praise from esteemed publications like All About Jazz, Jazz Corner, and Jazz Times, to name a few, cementing Dheepa's status as a rising star in the music world.

In 2022, Dheepa embarked on a new sonic exploration with "Good Intentions," collaborating with Brazilian producer and guitarist Sandro Albert to infuse her compositions with soulful vibes. She continued to push boundaries with her summer cover series, "Light of Day (2023)," showcasing her versatility through reinterpretations of beloved classics.

In her latest album, released on April 5, 2024, "Inner Flame," Dheepa takes us on a 12-track journey through the depths of human experience. From the anthemic "Warrior Within," dedicated to a friend facing adversity, to the infectious "Pardon the Past," born from the ashes of a broken relationship, every track is a testament to Dheepa's emotive storytelling and the power of her lyrics to touch our hearts.​ The album stands as a testament to her artistic evolution and unwavering commitment to her craft, as she continues to carve her path in the music industry.​

On the live stage, Dheepa has played at many venues in New York City and surrounding areas, including the Cutting Room, Rockwood Music Hall, Soap Box Gallery, and Bowery Electric, among others.
